What is it about

Are you an established business development professional, with the drive and expertise to accelerate, enhance and elevate our current business development strategy? Have you mastered the art of communication and are you able to influence at all levels?

  • Business Development Professionals adds value to sales efficiency by employing strategy and innovation to our practices. As a Client Director/ Senior Business Development Manager at emagine, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities within the banking sector by managing and driving our current client relationships, whilst predominantly focusing on bringing in new business; you will do this by capitalising on your wealth of experience and industry connections.
  • You will exploit our competitive position in assigned accounts by exceeding account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • In addition to this, you will work closely with Account Managers and Service Delivery Managers to pursue prospective leads and cross-sell into existing clients to create new streams of revenue.
  • We are looking for individuals with passion, drive and tenacity, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills to win new business and elevate our current business development strategy.

How can you contribute

Proactively target new business clients within the banking industry by leveraging your existing network

  • Build productive, professional relationships with key and target personnel in existing client accounts
  • Engage with prospective clients and build relationships on a consultative basis through learning about their challenges, goals and business needs
  • Lead all aspects of the sales process, while calling upon other emagine Consulting resources to assist you in solution development, proposal delivery and implementation
  • Develop sales through a combination of methods that may include all or in part: research, lead generation, prospecting, networking and in-person appointments
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of strategic solutions, working closely with our marketing, finance and product teams.

Who are you?

Qualification / General Profile

Ideally you will have the following experience/attributes:

  • Sales: Business Development / New Business / Account Management
  • Banking and Financial Services: Industry / Products knowledge
  • Consulting: Management / Business / IT / Recruitment / Strategy
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintaining and Building relationship.
  • Goal Orientated: Genuine desire to increase personal income with a dash of entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Have established connections and relationships within the banking and/or finance sector
  • Have demonstrable experience working with clients across investment banks, custodian and wealth firms
  • Possess the ability to thrive in a complex matrix environment whist prioritising multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines
  • Be a self-starter with the drive and hunger to succeed
  • Be a confident and effective communicator
